Today was awesome. I went for the Dialogue in the Dark tour! it was really really good. If you have not heard of it before, it is a social enterprise (business with a social cause) that employs visually impaired people (the blind) to work for them.
So what was the tour all about? we went into a world where there was total darkness. All we had inside the exhibition was a cane and a guide, one that is visually impaired. But inside there, you will realise that we are the ones that cannot see. You will be amazed by how the blind guide seem to know the way around, its almost seemed as if he could "see" in the complete darkness. All of us were really depending on our guide, William. Think about being blind for about an hour walking through Singapore. Using only your sense of touch and hearing.
When we felt things throughout the tour its like wow! simple things like a tree, bicycle, car, ATM machine, window, orange, apple, watermelon and many others.. but they all seemed so new, like it was something we never seen/felt before. Its really hard to describe the feeling but its simply awesome. Learning to see appreciate the little things and "seeing" things in a different way.
But I was really tired after i came out of the darkness, i think coz i was straining my eyes and trying really hard to see the things inside. =]

Went to lakeside to cut my hair JUST now with JUSTine. $3.80 only! hahaha and we travelled to the salon by a BMX bike. its almost like a roller coaster when you have justine on the handles... fun but scary, coz he like to do crazy stunts. lol
Something extra.

be it food, soccer, dramas, movies, music, bubble tea, roti prata, ice cream
we are lucky that we get to choose for ourselves
enjoy the variety
its just simply too hard to change that.
time to go do the work for my law module =]

Went for the 1st lesson of business etiquette! didnt know melissa and glory was same class as us. lol
Now for the funny moment of the day! We were suppose to introduce ourselves and there was this particular decent looking guy who said this..
