Went on a trip with SEC to meet the founder of Udders at their Bukit Timah outlet. Udders is an ice cream shop that has been open for only 2 years. But they are growing really fast and may even be the first local ice cream to go overseas.

What is so special or good about them?
They have ice cream with real liqueur in it
Original flavours that cannot be bought elsewhere
They also allow customers to suggest what flavour they would like. With enough votes, they will try and make it happen.
They made it a point to come out with at least a new flavour each month
The founder was previously a teacher for around 7 years but decided to venture into this business because he felt that he wasn’t growing much. He told us he spent 6 long months of his life making ice cream, tasting ice cream, researching on ice cream! without even knowing he would succeed or not. That alone requires a lot of commitment and courage to try.
and I got to eat their ice cream for free. Rum Rum Raisins! ^^

Today was IS day and i went to school not knowing what was in store for me today. It was raining cats and dogs.. my jeans and shoes were soaked in the rain even though I had my trusty umbrella… and plus I was late for class.
As I was walking to the class, I thought that the day would go on smoothly. But when i entered the class i was shocked to see everyone in formal attire. Turns out that today was the day we were suppose to have a dining etiquette test which was 15% of the whole module. Justine also forgot about it but he was lucky to be wearing formal because he need to host the green entrepreneurship forum… =.=
So i decided to borrow my formal wear from Elton.. when i was walking to the bus stop. there was this big puddle of water which was until my ankle. Even though i tried to tip toe over it, my shoes + socks got completely wet. its like putting them into a bucket of mud water. it was around 1.45pm at that time. i almost wanted to took a taxi but the bus came. Thank God i didn’t took a taxi.
The bus ride was fine until the water level become so high.. i took some photos. i will upload them later. You guys know that there is this gigantic drain in the middle of the road at KAP. I always thought that with such a gigantic drain, it won’t be able to flood. BUT IT STILL FLOODED! in fact it was so bad that the water level covered the exhaust pipe of cars and were almost hitting the number plate. So all the vehicles were stucked in the flood. There was a fire engine at the front trying to push the cars. I was thinking that they should make a giant vaccum cleaner to suck up all the water next time. not a bad idea..lol. Yea, so i was like.
“wah lao why so suay sia. bad day.. =.= why must rain…if never flood i reach Elton’s house liao lor… why i forgot about the dining…”
Started to complain in my mind.. but after awhile i decided to pray for the rain to stop coz i needed to get back to school at 3pm, where the actual dining starts.
After 45mins………………………………………….. The rain finally stopped! and the water level started to go down =D
So the bus started to move.. but it was very very slow… in the end I alighted in the middle of the road and started to walk to Elton’s house. I reached his house at around 2.45pm? Time was running out so I rushed down the slope.. over the overhead bridge.. Den i saw a 74 going towards the bus stop while i was halfway through the bridge so I raced the bus to the bus stop and managed to catch the bus. lol
Made my way to the Alumni… changed and reached just nice. Right before they started eating. Thank God! =D But because I didn’t attend the lesson given by the teacher during my exciting journey, I was just copying what the others do. lol and i managed to survive i guess. =)
After class I went to the Green Entrepreneurship Forum. Cool stuff. haha but the food was abit yucky.. except for the mini cheesecake. lol met Meita again. Shes 19 this year..came to Singapore when she was 6 years old.. and her parents are not in Singapore. Independent. (Y)
I always thought why exciting things don’t happen to me. And today it did. Although it seemed like a really bad situation, but it turned out fine in the end. woohoo!

Product: Toyota cars in general

Promotion: The advertisement shows a man driving a Toyota car and in the advertisement, the parts of the cars are replaced by real human. From the seats to the speakers and other parts like the car boot, airbag, reverse light.. It ends of with the tag line "Human touch". It is trying to tell the viewers that people that drive Toyota cars are served by "humans" and that Toyota cars are not just a machine. Saying that they have a relationship with the owner as if the cars are human. Hence the tag line "Human touch".

Caught the movie just now with some friends.

Okay so now its time to talk about the show.
Bad points
1) Too much near death scenes
Once all the ground starts to crack, they hopped into a limo and jump here jump there, go under a collapsing bridge..dodging meteors from the sky...collapsing runway.. they have all sorts of things. for the 1st hour of the show its practically all about how they run around not being killed. Too much till you know that "yea they are going to be lucky and survive this"
2) Lameness
Guy and girl holding hand talking about their relationship. Guy says "i feel that there is something between us". and the ground cracks right in between them... =.=
Television news report. "its all going to be all right" right after the sentence finished, Major earthquake.
too predictable. maybe because I am lame. lol
Good points
1) Disasters looked good and real
That is the reason why you have to watch it at the cinema. Tsunami, earthquakes, meteors all looked good.
2) Story that teaches
Talks about what is the correct way of fighting for humanity, not being selfish etc. Having trust in people. Teamwork. Family support. Sacrifice. I am too lazy to type out which parts of the movie was that. lol
3) Happy Ending
Always good. I know some of you out there might have preferred a sad ending with everything being destroyed but it would be sad if they fought so hard but still died. lol. Ending was about starting to rebuild the earth from scratch. Year 0001.

Influences
As we go through our life be it at work or in school, we are bound to come across people and things that we subconsciously have to make a choice and give it a label, deciding if it is cool, sick, disgusting, wonderful, amazing, bad, evil or good based on our beliefs and values. And we have to make a choice if it should be “installed” into our set of values and beliefs.
There are both bad and good influences and one of the most common bad influence is vulgaritites. When i was younger, i only hear them when someone is really super super duper angry. But now, you can hear it almost anytime, anyplace. It is everywhere! be it the media or even daily conversations. I am proud to say that I am not buying this “idea”. I think that it degrades your overall image.
Of course, thank God that there are also the good ones. Recently I am exposed to more of the business world, more to the idea of entrepreneurship. I would say its good coz at least now i am not spending the majority of my time playing computer games. =)
Looking back in my life from the past till now, I think i do have an affinity J people. Experienced alot.
